When using traditional tethers that are bolted to the HANS Device, head movement is limited.
It was always an issue for drivers who like to move their head around whilst racing.
The only option in the past was to extend the tethers out as much as possible, but this was giving the head much more travel and in affect, voiding the purpose of the HANS Device all together.
Now you can purchase this sliding tether kit which is simple to use and even easier to install.
The existing tethers are replaced by a single wrap around tether which is held down with the provided runners.
This kit will fit every HANS Device ever made. It works by sliding around the HANS Device and allowing a huge amount of rotational head movement.
During an impact, the HANS Device will still keep the head from moving forward.
