HANS Device Quick Disconnect kit
Designed for an emergency, this tether kit is popular with sprintcar drivers, who may need to get out of the car quickly.
On the right, you can see a HANS Device fitted with the system.
The unit works by turning a tether into 2 parts, one that is attached to the helmet and one to the HANS Device.
It features a pull mechanism that is simple to use, just pull and you will no longer be connected to your HANS Device.
During an impact, the HANS Device will still keep the head from moving forward.
Two quick disconnect HANS Device tethers included, contains webbing material, shackles, loops and metal catches.
